A fire extinguisher (APAR) usage simulation in the work environment is highly necessary to provide workers with an understanding of its functions and how to use it correctly and appropriately for tackling minor fire incidents.

Last Sunday (April 26), Bomba Grup's Energy Subholding held a fire extinguisher usage simulation led directly by Mr. Joko Prasetio and Mrs. Yuliana (Energy Subholding HSE Team) along with Mr. Jayadi (O&M HSE of PT UEI) and the Team. It began with a brief briefing on the types of fire extinguishers, their functions, and the correct usage techniques according to occupational safety standards, and concluded with a hands-on fire extinguishing practice in a prepared area.

It is hoped that this simulation will serve as a useful learning medium for theoretical understanding and practical skills in dealing with potential fires quickly and accurately in the work area.
