Preventing forest and land fires is a responsibility that is not merely an obligation but a primary commitment for a company, especially one operating in the Agro Industry sector.

Efforts to prevent and mitigate these forest and land fires require optimal readiness, both in terms of personnel and equipment, and demand strong synergy with various parties so that every potential threat can be prevented and handled quickly, accurately, and measurably across all operational areas.

As a tangible manifestation of this commitment, the Agro Industry Subholding of Bomba Grup held a Forest and Land Fire (Karhutla) Preparedness Assembly on Thursday (July 2) at the Agro Industry Subholding Site of Bomba Grup. The event was participated by workers with welcoming remarks by Mr. Zainal Abdy Ritonga (GM Operation of the Agro Industry Subholding) and attended by the Head of Operations of PALI Regional Police, Penukal Utara Police Chief, Head of PALI BPBD (Regional Disaster Management Agency), Manggala Agni, officials of the PALI Agriculture Office and South Sumatra Province Plantation Office, Head of Penukal Utara District, Ring 1 Village Heads, and the Fire Care Community Group (KMPA). The activity ran smoothly and received positive appreciation from the invited guests in attendance.

Through this activity, it is hoped to continuously increase the vigilance of workers and strengthen a sustainable Karhutla prevention system, thereby realizing a company operational area free from the threat of fire.
